When starting out a business, they say it’s all about location, location, location. For the Qacaq team, this couldn’t be more fitting, as the introduction of Qacaq was to take place in their hometown of Kuching, Sarawak, at the local Mall, Tun Jugah for the weekly, weekend Flea Marche. Setting up the stall proved to be an easy task, and the team worked at it like experts. It didn’t take long for Qacaq’s sparkly jewels to dazzle the bargain hungry crowd. In a quick matter of minutes, the stall was swarmed with excited shoppers, ogling, exclaiming and grabbing at the precious merchandise. Before the end of the day, Qacaq had been cleared out. The team was delighted at their first feat. It was time to go back to the lab and cook up more delectable wearables for future flea marches and more. So when opportunity knocked, they answered it! Needless to say, Qacaq’s debut was a huge success.
