Starting out as a mere hobby aimed at crafting unique, personalized gifts for family, Rina Osman, creator of these brilliant trinkets, never really thought something more could come of it. However, the encouragement from enterprising siblings; Irma, Qamal and Linda Osman, boosted enthusiasm to show off their brainchild to the world. After finally being struck with a divine 'business' revelation six years into the pastime, 2007 was deemed perfect timing to parade creations of their handmade, precious stoned jewellery galore. A countless variety of dazzling glints and sparkles of colours designed to capture attention and enhance attraction. The name, QACAQ, derived from Sarawak's dialect, meaning 'Beautiful', aptly describes both products and producers. Of course, QACAQ is complimented by an ingeniously designed logo to portray their source of inspiration, family.

The 'Q' portrays their late Father's everlasting presence and love for donuts while, the 4 butterflies represent the 4 siblings, Irma, Qamal, Rina and Linda.Lastly, the Flower at the end of the final 'Q' signifies their Mother and how she holds them together as one strong, solid family unit. This sibling collaboration clearly gives the term 'Family Jewels' a more wholesome meaning and epitomizes the saying, 'Jewels are the gift of fortune, while character comes from within'.
